Finance Committee

A Voluntary group of 5 parishioners.

The Finance committee Louise Bichler (chairperson), Jim Sproule, Richard Ciotti, David Weingartner, Wayne Punch along with Father Hamish, prepare and administer a yearly budget to manage the day-to-day operation of the building and grounds of St. Jerome Church. This committee;

  • advises and supports the Pastor of the Parish, Father Hamish.
  • is comprised of representative of a number of Standing Committees: i.e. Property; Building; Budget; Fundraising;
  • concerns itself with the temporal adminstration of the church, and directs funds as required for the maintenance and care of the building and grounds of St. Jerome Parish;
  • oversees the day-to-day upkeep , and maintains the safe condition of the property of St. Jerome Parish;
  • makes recommendations to the Pastor and Parish Council regarding major expenditures or major projects as needed in the parish;
  • liaises with the Parish Council in order that both groups maintain open communication regarding the operation of St. Jerome Church.
  • are answerable to the parishioners of St. Jerome to let them know what decisions are being made on their behalf.
